Dave Hanson is Senior Vice President, ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance. Prior to joining ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance, Dave served in agronomic and regional management at ChemLawn Corporation. Prior to joining ChemLawn, Dave served the University of California’s Cooperative Extension program as Farm Advisor in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties where he specialized in weed control and high-use athletic turf. He remains active with the industry today and serves as an active resource and lecturer. Dave has been involved in all aspects of landscape maintenance including horticultural and technical services for forty years. He was Vice President of Operations for ValleyCrest Companies as well as Vice President of ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance. He is an honors graduate from the University of California, Davis in Environmental Horticulture. Dave has held positions on the Board of Directors of the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA), the PLCAA Education and Research Foundation, the California Agricultural Production Consultants Association (CAPCA) and The Stanley W. Strew Educational Fund. He is a C-27 and C-61 licensed contractor, a Pest Control Advisor, a Certified Professional Agronomist and a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP). |
