Since Kenneth Hutcheson joined U.S. Lawns in 1995, he has been instrumental in growing the landscape maintenance franchise organization from a regional 18-franchise network in 1996, to a national franchise industry leader with more than 160 franchises from coast to coast. Starting as a facilitator, Ken was promoted quickly to Director of Franchise Development, and thereafter, to Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

U.S. Lawns is a company nourished by the values and passion of family-owned and operated franchise businesses and Ken is a champion of the entrepreneurial spirit and collegial teamwork that defines its culture. He develops his employees, his franchisees and his customer base with a strong commitment to long-term, high-value relationships. Over the course of his career with U.S. Lawns, he created and mentored the U.S. Lawns’ Franchise Development and Corporate Support teams, groups central to the company’s steady expansion nationwide. Ken was appointed Vice President, Sales and Marketing and eventually named President. He continues today to lead U.S. Lawns to an unprecedented level of success nationwide.

Under his guidance, U.S. Lawns was included among SUCCESS magazine’s listing of best franchises in its annual Franchise Gold 100 series and given 5-stars in the magazine’s franchisee satisfaction poll.

Ken attended the University of Florida graduating with a B.S. in Agriculture. He has more than 25 years of experience in the horticultural services industry including business administration, management and sales. He is an International Society of Arboriculture-certified arborist and a licensed, certified Pest Control Operator.

Ken is based out of U.S. Lawn’s corporate office in Orlando, Florida.
