John Johnston joined ValleyCrest Companies in July 2003 as Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for the effective use, delivery and performance of information technology. John formerly served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology for the Carlson Group, Inc., and Director of IT for Fluor Daniel, Inc.

A graduate of Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan, John holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He completed post-graduate coursework in numerical analysis from the University of California, Irvine and is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Orange County Chapter.
