Robert W. McDonnell joined ValleyCrest Companies as Vice President, Corporate Development in January 2007. In his role, he will be responsible for continuing the expansion of ValleyCrest’s strategic growth through acquisitions nationwide.

Rob joins ValleyCrest from Ernst & Young, San Francisco, where he was a senior manager of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. His expertise encompasses critical analysis of financial and operational information and related transaction due diligence for private equity firms.

Prior to Ernst & Young, Rob was an investment banker with Bear, Stearns & Co. in San Francisco and New York. He received his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia following graduation from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he was an elite athlete and Academic All American in men’s swimming.
