Roger J. Zino

Roger is the President of ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance (VCLM), a nationwide leader in providing landscape maintenance services with 73 branches in 19 states throughout the U.S. He joined ValleyCrest in 2001 and has served as President of VCLM since that time. VCLM provides total landscape solutions to a wide range of customers including hotels, resorts, corporate campuses, office and industrial buildings, multi-family dwellings, HOAs, retail centers, sports fields and public parks, as well as private residences. VCLM is part of ValleyCrest Companies; the nation’s largest, privately held provider of landscape development and maintenance services, and a major supplier of trees.

Mr. Zino came to ValleyCrest after a ten year career at McKinsey & Company where he was a Principal in their Los Angeles office and served a cross section of service-based companies. He was one of the leaders of the company’s Operations Effectiveness Practice and a founding member of the Service Operations Practice. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Zino was a Manufacturing Planning Specialist in the Body and Assembly Division of the Ford Motor Company and served as a Senior Auditor and CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York City.

Mr. Zino received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, and holds a B.S.B.A. in accounting and computer science from Georgetown University. He currently serves on The Board of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where he is a member of the Executive Committee and the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. He also serves on The Board of Advisors of Arizona State University’s Center for Services Leadership and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
